It is said it often takes a RAGOM Village to help our special dogs. Carolyn "CJ" 17-049A is one of those very special girls.
CJ and 7 of her 8 puppies were rescued from a Missouri Auction March 5, 2017 along with seven purebred goldens. On that day, all of their lives changed for the better.
CJ had spent her first 3.5 years as a breeding mama. She was very undersocialized with humans and great with other dogs. She begin her journey to learn to trust people by watching her foster sisters and foster cousins in addition to other RAGOM dogs as she took her lead from them. It took quite a long time for her to even trust me, her foster mom, but eventually, she decided human attention was great and would push her way in to get her share. After five months in fostercare, CJ had made remarkable progress and was ready to spread her wings. She was adopted to a wonderful family that will help her continue on in her journey to living the Golden Life filled with love, patience, acceptance and new experiences.
