This year Daisy and I are walking this year for all the dogs RAGOM could have turned away.
All the seniors with high medical bills, some only making it a few weeks, but those few weeks they were spoiled, comfortable and so loved.
All the RAGOM dogs we took in that had never been to a vet in their life!
All the dogs surrendered to a shelter or dumped in the middle of nowhere that are now living the Golden life they never knew existed.
All of our Puppy Mill auction dogs that never would have had a chance if we didn't outbid the backyard breeders (many of which never saw life outside a kennel.
Our dogs that needed surgeries- ACL tears, limbs removed, dental issues and some dogs for various reasons ended up with long hospital stay.
My list could go on but after almost a year of helping with intake calls, following stories from fosters and being as involved as I have been. I have really grown to love this organization. If it wasn't for events like Goldzilla and this walk, many of these dogs would never had a chance to know what "the Golden Life" is supposed to be like.
