Those who know me know next to my own dogs my life revolves around RAGOM.  I enjoy the endless hours I spend volunteering and in two short years I've dove into any area of volunteering I could.  Recently, I joined the Board of Directors and I started fostering so I'm now seeing first-hand how much the walk helps out our dogs that are coming in. 

My current foster came in as a retired breeder dog.  When she arrived she had never been in a home, she was terrified and had to be lifted out of the car.  My TV, the fridge, the washer/dryer and even stairs was such a scary experience for her.  Slowly, we are working through her fears and I'm watching this pup come out of her shell and she's starting to really enjoy this life.  It's such a rewarding to experience to watch her go to our "toy box" and play with a toy when only a couple weeks ago, that same toy would make her jump.

She had seen a vet only a handful of times in her life and now she has been brought up to date on her vaccines, she's getting treated for a double ear infection, bladder infection and just was spayed.  This walk helps us continue to take in dogs like my current foster.  Every dollar counts and the support would mean a lot.
