My latest foster, Sasha 19-113, is like many of the fosters that I have had in the past 12 years as a RAGOM volunteer. She is a retired breeder dog. Sasha was rescued through an auction sale in Missouri in late April. She differs from many of my past fosters from the emotional damage that was done to her in her first 2 years of life. When she first came into rescue she weighed just under 35 pounds. Fast forward 3 months and she is now at a healthy weight of a little more than 50 pounds. The next part of Sasha's journey is helping her to be more comfortable in new environments. This of course takes time and lots of reassurance that she is loved and safe.
Our goal for Goldzilla 2019 is to raise $1,200.00 in celebration of our 12 years as a volunteer and to help save more deserving dogs like Sasha. Any and all amounts are greatly appreciated! Plus I personally will match the first $250 in donations. We hope to see you on September 8 at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton for Goldzilla 2019!
