This year RAGOM's  fundraiser will be going virtual. COVID -19 has made it impossible to have the kind of fundraiser we're used to having but that doesn't mean that we can't still raise money and awareness for RAGOM as rescue goes on even in these times. If you are able, it would be so greatly appreciated if you could donate to RAGOM in support of the mission to rescue and rehome Golden Retrievers and Golden Retriever mixes.

I want to share a few of the fosters I have rescued and found wonderful homes for recently.

Finn 19-196

Finn was lovingly surrendered to RAGOM when his family realized they did not have time for a puppy. He was a healthy energetic youngster who loved to play. Enter Ashli and Tyler who adopted Finn and have given him lots of playtime with friends and showered him with love.

Helena/Lena 19-226C

Lena, now known as Daffodil, came into from China via RAGOM's international rescue program. Lena was about 4 months old and in rescue in China but the weather was getting colder and the facilities in China have no indoor availability which necessitated her quick trip to Minnesota and into RAGOM. Lena found her very own home in Iowa where she has two fur sisters to play with and wonderful parents to show what the golden life is all about.

Alex 20-007

Alex, now known as Angus, came as a breeder surrender to the humane society. He was quite fearful and not tolerating life in the kennel at the humane society. RAGOM accepted this labradoodle into rescue and he was on his way to a whole new life. Alex hit the jackpot in finding his forever home. He has a BFF Vern to play with and a wonderful family to who has helped him transition into a confident, trusting soul.

River 20-028A

River came into RAGOM at the age of 4 months along with several other puppies from the same breeder. These puppies were not socialized and so instead of having the fun loving lives they should have at this young age, they had fears and anxieties to deal with. Due to an incident with another dog, River lost her left eye but adjusted to it quickly. She found a great family who loves her so much and has a big fenced yard to run in, and a fur sister to play with. Life is great for this sweetie.

Kennedy 20-046

Current foster Kenndy came was surrendered from the same breeder as Alex 20-007 to the humane society. Kennedy is also a labradoodle and has many of the same fears as Alex did. Kennedy loves to play and is looking for a home with another confident dog, no small children, and a fenced yard would be great. He walks well on the leash and loves to be outside. He does have some separation anxiety so being left all day would not be good for him. Kennedy is a sweet, lovable youngster who just warms your heart.

On September 13, Bella and I and Kennedy will be doing the virtual Goldzilla walk around Lake Nokomis. Join us with wherever you are and celebrate Goldzilla this year in a most unusual way. Thank you!
